Every vintage, we select barrels to be blended and bottled early for our table wine program. The point is not to focus on the characteristics of any one varietal, but to blend a wine that is fresh, forward and delicious when enjoyed young.

2017 was a very short vintage for us. Most of the fruit we harvested this year was picked just before the fires began above Napa and Sonoma Valleys. While processing the fruit in Calistoga, the winery lost power. We were forced to move the wine to a friend’s facility in Sonoma to finish fermentation. In the spring of 2018, we moved all of our production to Santa Rosa where we blended half of our 2017 production into this wine.
